When you join me in the workshop, you will learn about tools and strategies to implement good mental health care into your daily life.
This doesn’t have to be complicated! You might be surprised how quickly you will see the positive changes within yourself and your life.
So let’s dive in!
What is ‘Nurturing Kindness’ about?
During the workshop, you will learn how to let go of
- limiting beliefs,
- toxic expectations,
- negative self language
- harsh self judgement
- shame and guilt about looking after yourself
These five key factors have such a huge impact on our mental wellbeing and we might not even be aware of it. As women, we often feel pressured to ‘have it all’ and do everything without complaining – in fact, we even say ‘sorry’ for almost anything, from sharing an opinion to asking a question, because we just don’t want to be a bother. On top of that, is there something we don’t do?
- the household,
- run our own business or go to work,
- manage the family and probably volunteer some time at our kids’ school
We are exhausted but we make it work because we have to. There are no breaks, no rewards and we end up saying thank you, too!
That is where ‘Nurturing Kindness’ comes in.
The workshop teaches you how to take care of yourself first within this busy environment so you stay strong, centered and happy.
You will learn to uncover where your expectations and ideas of yourself come from and how they impact on your decisions to look after yourself.
I am teaching you how to break free of these expectations that are often not yours and how to implement what REALLY works for you.
Yes, kindness! (That’s the twist. Well, one of them. There are a few extra bonus ones you will find out about!)
We often show kindness to others and that is so important and wonderful. But when it comes to being kind to ourselves, we balk. We can’t do that! What an indulgence!
Is it though?
By nurturing kindness within ourselves, we not only change our own mental wellbeing but that of those around us, too.
I will show you in my workshop how kindness is the key to your mental wellbeing and living your life with purpose and full of motivation each day.
How does it work?
The workshop is held regularly at Innerji Yoga Studio, 142 Monaro Street, Queanbeyan, NSW.

Who is it for?
The workshop is open to anyone who knows they want to make changes to feel better and be their best but are unsure how.
If you feel that you are often too harsh on yousrself, run empty but keep going anyway then the workshop is for you!
The workshop is also open for anyone who has had a challenging life situation thrown at them and is looking for gentle ways to cope such as
- the loss of a baby or pregnancy
- a life changing health diagnosis such as depression, anxiety or chronic illness
- the loss of a loved one
- job loss or unexpected change in career
- challenging family life
